World Cup 2006 Germany
Twenty three of us from Mayville High School travelled to Germany for a football-crazy weekend. We played in a tournament with teams from other countries on Saturday - then we were supposed to see the game between the Czech Republic and Ghana - however - the tickets didn't turn up.
When we came home it turned out that lots of us missed out - Portsmouth Football Club came to our rescue and they kindly provided transportation and accomodation as well as helping find us some real World Cup tickets. The following weekend we all travelled back to Germany in the PFC coach to see England play. The BBC were with us and news updates were posted on their website throughout the entire trip.
